I went to school with John at Lyons High school and was in his brother Bobbie's class.  Although I haven't seen him in a very long time, when I think of John, I think of how strong he was,  what a great athlete he was and what a good person he was. I'm sending my condolences to his wife and all his family. I just learned of the service a day late,  I would've come to pay my respects to an old friend. May he rest in peace. 

We were neighbors of the Miller Family for 14 years. My husband and I are not handy people, so the running joke when we needed mechanical advice or something broke unexpectedly (or when we accidentally dumped a gallon of paint in our garage) was that we would look at each other and cry, "We need a man....go ask John!" He would always chuckle at our stupidity, then kindly offer advice and help us out. He was always so calm and kind.  He will be missed by so many.

I have many good memories of times spent with John, but my most favorite times were Friday nights with him and the Dick’s as we would run up and down the sidelines when we were on the chain gang for the Spartan’s home football games.  There were some beautiful sunsets with good friends waiting for the game to start.  Lots of laughs and joking around until game time... then he was all business.  John is one of the best men I have ever known.

We were so sorry to hear of John's death. How hard for you, especially during the Christmas season. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Mary Beth and Eldon

 JOHN WAS A GREAT PERSON TO WORK WITH.  MY PRAYERS AND SINCERE CONDOLENCES TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS. 

And what is it to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides,that it might rise and expand and seek God unemcumbered.  
Rest in peace John and since you're proceeding me, please make certain that the pearly gates are working correctly for when I arrive, and anything else you happen to find that needs repair.  

We have many happy memories of The whole Miller family. All very good & loving people, starting with John's grandparents (my uncle & aunt), Lowell & Verla, and his Dad Dean, on down to Johnie & his brothers. They always made family gatherings the best of times! In recent years we havent had the privilege of spending time with John & Jennifer and their family, but Im sure he passes on  the Miller legacy of finding (& giving) joy in life, strength, courage, integrity, & love of people, especially his family. Our hearts go out to them.

I only know John from him coming out and working on our Robotic welders.
But what I will always remember was his smile when entering our facility. 
Then we would joke about all the goofy stuff in life. He will be missed by many
of people.
