Irene Phyllis ( Renie ) Schell

Irene Phyllis (Renie) Schell joined the angels in heaven on December 18, 2020. She was 82 years old. Renie was born in Mead, Colorado to Camiel and Phyllis Ghesquiere. She met her loving husband in grade school in Mead, Colorado and they married on October 29, 1955. They recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Renie graduated Longmont High School and was a member of St. John Catholic Church and attended school there. Renie worked a variety of jobs, working at Lutes Drug on Main Street for 35 years and at Re/Max for 13 years. She was recognized by the Times Call in 1985 as the " Best sales clerk in Boulder County." She always made everyone around her laugh and made friends wherever she went. She loved the outdoors including goose and elk hunting, fishing, deep sea fishing, dancing, cruise and crafts. She loved vacationing in Europe with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Camiel and Phyllis Ghesquiere, and brothers Albert and Chessy Ghesquiere. She is survived by her husband, John Schell, her sister-in-laws Sandy (Willard) Scheel and family, Dorthy Ghesquiere and family. Kathy Sack and family, Betty Scheller and family, brother-in-law Frank Schell and family, cousins Bob and Linda Anderson and family, special friends Jim and Kathy Danzl and family and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held in her honor at St. John Catholic Church on January 12, 2021 at 10:00 A.M.
