Glen L. Williams, 85, of Longmont passed away May 27, 2014 at his home. He was born December 5, 1928 in Hygiene, Colorado to Grover and Hattie Williams.Glen served in the United States Army; he married Katheryn Furney on June 14, 1952 at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Glen was a truck driver for Colorado Milk Transport then Empire Dairyman's Assoc. and Western Dairyman's Assoc. He retired in 1991. Glen was a member of Mead United Methodist Church; he enjoyed yard work, playing cards, word games and reading.He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Buford and Grover Williams, two sisters; Evelyn Sanderson and Loyce Humphreys.Glen is survived by his wife Katheryn of Longmont, a son Steve Williams of Greeley, CO, four daughters; Glenna Baldwin and husband Don of Pueblo, CO, Charlene Hopp and husband Walter of Longmont, Deborah Williams of Louisville, CO and Jacqueline Phillips and husband Tony of Albuquerque, NM, his brother Don Williams and wife Guenn, four grandchildren; Donna, Jason, Ryan and Brent, one great grandchild Logan.Visitation will be 6 PM to 8 PM Tuesday June 3, at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Wednesday June 4, 2014 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Foothills Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
