Donna Mae Sipe

Donna was born March 10, 1937 in Mitchell, SD. She was the daughter of Phyllis (Detwiler) Wooner and Benjamin Wooner. She graduated from Mitchell High School, Mitchell, SD, in 1955. She was married in 1956 and had 4 energetic children while moving from state to state & finally settling in Erie, CO. She later divorced in 1983.

She worked many years at ValleyLab and retired in 1995. She married the love of her life, Glen Sipe, on October 24, 1986. She was a member of the Tri Town Baptist Church, Frederick, CO. Donna enjoyed traveling with Glen to visit her children, family, & friends who lived out of state. She and Glen also enjoyed camping with close friends, Lee & Vee Ann Jasper, Dick & Mary DeQuasie, Fern Watson, and so many other church couples that joined them on their adventures. She was an avid gardener and loved taking care of her beautiful flowers.

Survivors include her husband, Glen Sipe, of Life Care Center of Longmont; 4 children: Debbie (Larry) Crawford of Greer, SC; Milton (Chris) Wilcox of Franklin Grove, IL; Brian (Rebecca) Wilcox of Johnstown, CO; Vicki (Todd) O’Hagan-Ioerger of Dacono, CO; 4 step-children, Bob (Karen) Kinyon of Wellington, CO; Sally Knutson of Mitchell, SD; Heidi Sipe of Gretchen, OR; & Dean (Katie) Sipe of Loral, MT; 12 Grandchildren; 23 Great Grandchildren; 5 Great-Great Grandchildren.
