Dennis Ray Lubeley

Dennis Ray Lubeley, 61, of Frederick passed away January 19, 2016 from complications of ALS.He was born January 13, 1955 in Denver, CO to James Augustus and Barbara Grace (Dupree) Lubeley. He attended Saint Dominic Catholic School and North High graduating in 1974.Dennis married Barbara Jane Gerken in May of 1981. He moved to New Jersey and Kentucky for 20 years before returning to Colorado. He worked for UPS for 35 years and retired in 2010.He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lafayette, CO.Dennis enjoyed boating, photography, his 1923 T bucket roadster, gadgets and technology, breweries, the Broncos and firearms.He was preceded in death by his parents and his twin sister Dolly.Dennis is survived by his wife Barb, four daughters Nicole Donnelly (Tim), Sarah Jane Lubeley (Drew Henry), Katlin Birdsall (Brandon) and Laura Lubeley (Josh Denz), two grandchildren Jude and Z y, two brothers Anton and Greg and two sisters Gigi and Margie.Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00pm Friday, January 22, 2016 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Rosary Prayers will begin at 7:00pm on Friday. Mass of the Resurrection will be 10:00am Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lafayette.
