I have very fond memories of visiting our Colorado cousins in the mountains. Denny and Joey always welcomed us when we came to visit. Denny would take us hiking every time. We just loved being with them while enjoying CO!One memory that always makes me smile happened when I was maybe in 3rd grade. We had gone souvenir shopping in Estes Park and I found the perfect horse decoration for my bedroom. When we got back to Denny's, I realized something was wrong with it (at least in my eyes!). My parents were not willing to drive into Estes for this seeing this as a small matter and very inconvenient. Denny insisted that it was fine, jumped in the car and took me back to Estes for the exchange. He didn't need to do it, but he did. I was so excited to have the souvenir I really wanted! It made quite an impression on me. One shouldn't be surprised...that is how Denny was: thoughtful, caring and loving. Denny will be missed and was loved dearly! With love, Donna

Lenie had the opportunity to know Dennis as a caregiver and to experience his warm personality.  Dennis and Jo demonstrated a very beautiful strong love as a couple.  Jo is an amazing woman who would do anything to support her husband.  Dennis was always very kind and polite.  It has been wonderful to have the chance to know Dennis.  He will be missed.

Donna and I are very sorry for your loss. Dennis was a very special person and will be missed by all who knew him.

Jo, we were so sorry to hear of Dennis passing.  We have fond memories of Dennis and always appreciated the friendship you extended to both of us when we first arrived at the United Association General Office in Washington D.C.  Dennis was a true professional in his work and a gentleman in his dealings with people.  His love for motorcycles was never far from reference and he was so proud of the trike. I would like to extend condolences to the family.  As a member of Pipefitters Local #208 I had great respect and admiration for Dennis. May your good memories give you comfort.

The last 12 years have been very difficult but I know Jo holds many fond memories of a wonderful marriage and his friends remember a warm, friendly person with a heart as big as he was.  Rest in peace Dennis !!!

My heart goes out to his devoted wife and his family. Joel Lene's unsurpassed love and care for Dennis is more than amazing. Through thick and thin she was there for him and made his last 12 years as good as they could ever had been. He has been blessed by having his wife of 50 years there by his side. I've had the opportunity to share this with her and in my honest opinion, she has been a saint and has added in his salvation of living and now to leave this world and enter into another phase. 

Dennis will always hold a special place in my heart.  Jo, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  

I will truly miss Dennis, we go back quite some time. I was one of his caregivers and we had a lot of laughs together and many episodes of Star Trek. I got to witness the love you had for your wife, Jo and how your face would light up with your kids and grandkids. When Erin would come over and play the keyboard for you, I could see the proudness in your eyes. I seen you in good times and bad, and so happy you are in Heaven with the Lord and family that left before you. Rest in Peace Dennis, you will be missed.
