Charles Edwin Peterson

Charles “Chuck” Edwin Peterson passed away June 2nd in the comfort of his home after a hard fought battle against lung disease, or what we suspect was a broken heart. After 4 long months without her, he is reunited with his late wife, Rosalie Peterson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Grace Peterson, his sister Mary Margaret, and his eldest son Shawn. Chuck is survived by his sister Carol, his daughter Jami Leugers (Steve and granddaughters Emily, Abbie and Hannah), his daughter Jill Peterson (Chris), his daughter Jodi Cox (Steve and granddaughter Kailee and grandson Jacob), his son Chad Peterson (Aimee), his daughter Julie Miller (granddaughter Claire and grandsons Carter and Peyton), and his daughter-in-law Hannah Hippely.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to TRU Community Care, the organization that provided support and comfort to both Charles, Rosalie, and their family throughout their time in hospice. You may also consider donating to the American Lung Association to help fund research for interstitial lung disease.

A Memorial Mass for Chuck will be held on June 23rd at 10am at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church 3791 Pike Road, Longmont, CO.
