Although born in Kansas, Angie lived in Longmont for most of her life moving here in 1960. She attended Longmont schools, graduating from Longmont High School in 1975 where she was active in Show Choir, Madrigals and was a member of the Trojanettes her junior and senior years. She was a dedicated wife and mother who loved and lived for her family; she was very close to her 5-year-old grandson who she saw nearly every day.
Angie was very passionate about animals, especially horses and dogs; dogs have always been part of her family. She also loved painting, drawing, and arts and crafts and was an avid collector of Native American arts.
She bravely survived cancer for 12 years and each and every day she had with her family was a gift and a true blessing. Her courage touched so many lives.
A memorial service to celebrate Angie’s life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the Howe Mortuary Chapel.
