Fred lived in Eaton Colorado and was member of a Refuge church in Greeley Colorado. Called a
“House of Hope” which is lead by Pastor Juan Romero and his wife Carla. Fred’s’ last employment was as a “Home Health Care Provider. His passion was to tend to the people who weren’t as fortunate as he was. He gave from his heart, and prayed for the sick.
Before that he worked at CRP 4 x 4 Truck Outfitters. He loved cars. Ever since he was a child he enjoyed looking at vehicles, and knowing about cars, He taught his daughter at the age of two how to say a certain model of a car and she said it. He was a Football fan, Nebraska Cornhusker and Pittsburgh Steeler Fan ! He loved to challenge everyone at games.
He went to Houston was blessed with the ability to get credentials for counseling to the married couples and the drug addicted people. He had a gift for talking to people. He had a great knowledge in the bible. Some would say he carried the bible in his heart.
Alfred John Fernandez was born on February 15th 1965. He was the 13th sibling of 14 children. Fred is preceded by his older brother Abraham, Beloved Grandmother Laurencia, grandfather Hernando, His Loving Mother Carmen, Aunt Connie, Uncle Alex and Uncle Oscar.
He has left behind his surviving three children Laurencia (Perez) Hall Stewart, Danielle (Perez) Hall, and Alfred Jr. (Perez) Hall. Along with his Siblings. Socorro ( Gregorio) Murillo, Jessie (Gloria) Perez, Lupe (Dave) Encinia, Janie Perez, Tony (Gladys) Perez, Elias (Josie) Perez, Rebecca (Fritz) McCormick, David Perez, Daniel (Nina) Perez, Martha ( Richard) Earhart, Barbara (Tony) Ramirez, Joseph Perez and Henry Perez.
Fred had several nieces and nephews that he visited and enjoyed spending time with. He went to church with them , taught some of them to drive, preached with some of them and had barbeques with some.
We will miss him dearly.
The funeral will be a closed casket. Due to the current situation there is only going to be a burial and a select family members will be attending. The rest of us will be there supporting in spirit.
