SEMENIUK, Wasyl - passed away peacefully at the Halton Oakville-Trafalgar Hospital early Saturday morning on December 18th, 2010 in his 93rd year. Wasyl was the beloved husband of Olena for almost 25 years and dear father of sons Bill (Betty) Semeniuk of Thamesford and John (Marlene) Semeniuk of Clear Creek; daughter Rose (Paul) White of London. He was also step-father to Victor (Tamara) Koszarny of Oakville) and Paul (Christine) Koszarny of Ridgeway. Wasyl will be lovingly remembered by brother Paul Semeniuk of London as well as his 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by first wife Lillian Francis Semeniuk (Chubak), sister-in-law Olga Semeniuk (Krajcarski) and brothers Steve, Peter, Roman, Stanley and Walter Semeniuk in Ukraine. Wasyl was a respected member of the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church in London. He was also an active member of the Church choir and the London Ukrainian community. He will be warmly remembered by everyone and be missed dearly. Visitation will be held at the NEEDHAM FUNERAL HOME (520 Dundas St.) on Tuesday, December 21 at 2- 4 p.m. and 6:30-9 p.m. Panahyda service will be at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral service will be held at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church (151 King Edward) at 10 a.m. on Wednesday the 22nd with Reverend Father Myroslav Semehelskiy officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the Family is requesting that those wishing to make a donation in the memory of Wasyl do so to the Canadian Cancer Society.
