Jean E. M. Brown

Jean Passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 6, 2018 at her residence in the Dearness Home. Beloved wife of the late Beverly K. Brown (1996). Loving mother of the late Wayne Winegarden (1995). Predeceased by her parents Erle and Nellie Corbett, brother McKee (Mac) Corbett and his wife Betty. Dear grandmother of Christy and Sarah. She will be sadly missed by all her nieces and nephews Barry (Joan) Matthews, Jim (Sara) Corbett, Brenda Corbett (Ron McIntosh) as well as great nieces and nephews Dylan, Melanie, Jamie, Tom, Johnny, Alissa, Brad, Erin, Calvin. She was Great Great Aunt to 9. Jean served in the active army from 1943-1946 CWAC, was employed by Kellogg’s from 1950-1984 and was a member of St Alban the Martyr Church and The Royal Canadian Legion Victory Branch. Extreme gratitude to the staff at the Dearness Home and to all nurses and staff on 3 West,(You Know who you are) for becoming part of Jean’s family, caring and loving her every day for the past 6 years. The funeral service will be held at Needham Funeral Service (520 Dundas St, London) on Sunday March 11, 2018 at 2 pm with visitation from Noon-2 pm. There will be a spring interment in the Fordwich Cemetery.
