Ronald James Hacker

Beloved father of Jesse (Nyssa Rabinowitz) Hacker. Loving brother of Sherry (Fred) McCrory. Dear uncle of Kristi (Matt) Daeda and Brad (Marissa) McCrory. Dearest great uncle of Aislinn, Anders, Landon and Eliza. Loved by many cousins and extended family and friends.

Ron enjoyed cooking and grilling, especially making his famous beef brisket and cheesecakes. He loved preparing meals for others; neighbors, friends and family. He was the type of guy who was always there when someone needed help, no questions asked. Ron retired from Ford Motor Company after nearly 30 years as a mechanic and spent his last 2 years working at Lowe’s in various departments. Ron enjoyed growing peppers, playing video games, his favorite being Pokémon Go, and tinkering with fixing things around the house. He will be remembered for his dedicated work ethic, his generous soul and his carefree sense of humor.

Visitation, Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from 1PM until time of service at 4PM at Harry J. Will Funeral Home: 37000 Six Mile Rd., Livonia, MI 48152.
