I was fortunate enough to have gotten the opportunity to meet this fine gentleman as I was referred to him by a divorce attorney, and he did my taxes a couple of times... The last time I saw him, I dropped off my paperwork to him and he met me outside at my car due to the pandemic.. He said ' I feel like a drug dealer', meeting me outside with a mask on... This cracked me up.  I just know this man is one of God's angel's now, as he treated everyone with dignity and respect and truly cared about people in general.  This is a hard time finding someone who wants to help people and doesn't care about the money. Thank you for the interaction and impact you made on me in just a couple of short visits.  God bless you Bob and your family.  

Wow what a shock it was to hear of Bob's passing.  We received a letter today saying that he had passed and a different firm was taking over all of his clients.   Bob was my CPA for many years when I had my business and he continued to do my taxes every year since I have retired.  When he did my taxes last April he said he was thinking about retirement and I told him I would have to find someone to do my taxes if he retired and he said he would let me know when that time came.  He was an avid runner and he used to tell me how him and his son would compete against each other.  He was a great guy and I will miss him very much.  Rest in peace my dear friend. I just heard about this and I was frankly stunned.
Bob and I spent many hours running our butts off for the Track and Cross Country teams at old Johnny Glenn. He was a fierce competitor, and a good friend. He would often show up at my house to roust my lazy self to get out there and put in the requisite training mileage for the upcoming seasons of competition. We often traded light-hearted barbs between us whenever possible, especially on the busses to and from the many track and cross country meets we competed in.  It was all in good fun. I haven't seen Bob since we graduated, but the fond memories remain.

Wonderful to have known such a smart guy and fabulous athlete who never said an unkind word (and had a great smile)!   Most memories are tied to our time in band and high school.    Was nice saying hi at our reunions. We will really miss him at the next one!   My deepest sympathies to all of Bob’s family. I am sorry to hear about Bob.  It has been difficult to wrap my head around.  My whole heart and soul goes out to you Joanne, Mark, Eric , Jennifer and the entire family.  My prayers and thoughts are with  all of you.  Joanne and Bob have been part of my family for 44 years.  We shared lots of funny and strange camping trips together.  We've been through many laughs and tears throughout the years.  When I went to Michigan for some R&R Joanne and I each had our own couch to veg out on. Bob would be our servant and wait on both of us.  I have many years of memories that I will always treasure.  RIP Bob, will love you forever.

Bob and I attended high school and college together. We were in the band together at Glenn so spent considerable time together. At college we'd hang out in the cafe debating feminism (I was rather passionate back then) and discussing our high school days. I was jealous of his photographic memory because he never seemed to have to study. I saw him at our 30th reunion where he was the same as always, a great guy who was kind to all. My sincerest condolences to his family. I'm sure he will be missed terribly.

Joanne, I was stunned and heartbroken to learn of Bob’s passing.  He was a remarkably talented and kind man.     I have often reminisced over the past 40 years about the times we spent as young adults, camping, fishing, playing sports, hanging out and laughing.  I wore the tee shirt from the softball team sponsored by Hungry Howie forever. The world has most certainly lost a good one. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers as you deal with this tragic loss.  

This picture was taken right when Michigan salons were allowed to open back up after the pandemic closure.  We were experimenting with how to best cut and style hair with the intrusiveness of a mask that was still mandated and as you can see, Bob was a great sport about our trials, which shows what kind of man he was as a whole.  I talked to Bob every other day, not only finance and investment, but also farming, family issues and canning tomatoes.  He was always there to answer any questions I had and if he didn’t have an answer, he was always able to listen.  Bob wasn’t just our family accountant, he was our family, and my only regret is not telling him how much I appreciate all that he was and all that he had done for us when I talked to him last Sunday.  He was truly loved, and will remain loved in memory, by all.

Where does one begin when you lose one of your best friends so unexpectedly. After the shock of the news, we all look back and remember how blessed we were to have Bob in our lives. 
For me, it started on the High School wrestling team. We became instant friends. In class or on the mat Bob was one of the best. His intelligence could be seen in class, sports and eventually in personal business. 
We would always see each other at the class reunions. We generally always sat together. We share stories of our children and how our families are doing. Bob loved his family more than anything. That was evident with his involvement whatever the kids were doing.
Later in life I started my own business and Bob was one of my first phone calls. I was so fortunate that he took his old school buddy on as a client. He was always took care of my business and my personal finances. You can sleep better knowing Bob is on your team.
I could write a book about Bob but everyone would have already experienced the same story. Not a finer man has walked this earth.
We were so blessed to have him in our lives, we are better people because of him.
Till we meet again my dearest friend may you rest in peace and my God watch over your family. We will be lost without you and will miss you everyday.

I just don’t know what to say. Bob was one of my best friends for 50 years all the way back to high school. He was also my best man in my wedding.  Bob & Joanne we’re our traveling partners for years. We had such great times together.

Bob was the good neighbor next door.   Always smiling and friendly, ready to do anything you might ask of him.  More than once his snow-blower just drifted onto my sidewalk in front until it was completely clean.   Bob, we miss you already.   Rest in peace. Having graduated high school with Bob , I knew he was an upstanding man, mild mannered, kind, and a great athlete. You could see the love Bob had for Joanne, as well as his children, every time we were all together.  Bob will be greatly missed by so many. Bob was my neighbor in Westland. We ran track and cross country together at John Glenn. Bob was one of the finest gentleman I have ever known. Aside from being a 3 sport letterman and an All-State wrestler, Bob was at the top of his graduating class. He is the type of person you wanted marrying your sister. Godspeed my friend. We were all lucky to have known you.
