Robert Patrick McKay, age 74, of Livonia, Michigan passed away on Tuesday May 1, 2018. Robert was born March 17, 1944 to the late Aloysius and Pauline McKay. Loving husband of Sharon for 45 wonderful years. Cherished father of Amy (Brian) Markovich, Christopher (Kristin) McKay, and Andrea McKay. Beloved Grandfather of Justin (Allison), Kaylee, Jayden, Alexa, Abigail, Madelyn, Nathan, Robbie, Lukas, Dakota, and Michael and great-grandfather of Elijah.
Robert enjoyed spending his time outdoors, whether it was planting or landscaping. He loved fishing and in his earlier years, hunting and even building furniture. You could always find him tinkering with his favorite cars. In 1968, Robert graduated and worked as a pharmacist up until his retirement in 2014.
A visitation for Robert will be held Monday, May 7, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd, Livonia. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 9:30 AM (instate at 9 AM) at St. Aidan Catholic Church, 17500 Farmington Rd, Livonia.
