Milutin "Tine" Radovanovich

Tine was the beloved husband of Snezana Radovanovich for over 56 years. They were married in 1968 at St. Lazarus Orthodox Church in Detroit. He was a devoted father to Petar Radovanovich and Dejan (Marija) Radovanovich, and a cherished brother to Milenija Premovic. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rade and Ljubinka Radovanovich, as well as his aunt Brina and his uncle Radoslav, with whom he shared a particularly close bond.

Born in Krusevac, Serbia, in 1941, Milutin led a full and meaningful life. He was an academic, a teacher, and a skilled baker, but above all, he was a lifelong learner with a deep curiosity for the world. His passion for knowledge extended to his love for reading, where he found joy in exploring books on a variety of subjects. Music was another of Tine’s great loves—he was an accomplished violin player, finding solace and expression through the melodies he created. He was also known for his dedication to his faith, as a regular attendee at St. Lazarus Serbian Orthodox Church in Detroit, where he found community and spiritual fulfillment.

Outside of work and church, Tine had a wide array of interests. He was an avid collector of stories, whether from books, music, or the people around him. His love for music went beyond playing the violin; he appreciated many genres and often shared his musical interests with friends and family. Tine’s curiosity about life, coupled with his rich hobbies, made him a fascinating individual who brought joy to everyone he encountered.

A funeral visitation will take place on Friday, November 29, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harry J. Will Funeral Homes, 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152. A trisagion service will be held at 5:00 PM on the same day.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 11:00 AM at St. Lazarus Serbian Orthodox Cathedral - Ravanica, 4575 Outer Drive East, Detroit, Michigan 48234.

Milutin will be laid to rest at Glen Eden Lutheran Memorial Park, 35667 Eight Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152.
