Mario Michael Cervi

Born in Picinisco, Italy on June 23, 1948, Mike immigrated to the United States with his family in 1958. He was dedicated in his occupations as a construction superintendent and later as a meat cutter. But above all else, he cherished his family the most. Mike was known for his sense of humor, his kindness, and his love of the outdoors along with his passion for gardening, minor home improvement projects, football and soccer.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette, of 49 years, his children Laura and Michael (Erin) and his grandchildren Sofia, Lucas, Elyse and Morgan. Mike is also survived by his twin brother, Americo (Maria) and his sister Santina Sumpter. Preceded in death were his parents Vito and Addolorata Cervi and his older brother Gino (Mona).

Visitation will be at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152 on December 5 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m with a rosary starting at 7:00 PM. The funeral mass will be offered at St. Colette Catholic Church, 17600 Newburgh Rd., Livonia, Michigan 48152 on December 6 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation at the church prior to mass from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Glen Eden.
