Marilynn Maureen Beaudoin

Marilynn Maureen Beaudoin, age 87, of Dearborn Heights, Michigan passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024. Marilynn was born January 9, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan to Mary Jane (nee Smiley) and Lloyd Charles Cassidy. Loving mother of Mary Catherine Beaudoin, Colleen (Gerry) Vento, and Matthew (Katie) Beaudoin. Beloved grandmother of Collin Beaudoin, Alexander Vento, Caitlynn Beaudoin, Anna Vento, Connor Beaudoin, Dominic Vento, Julia Vento, and Nathan Beaudoin. Dear sister-in-law of Patricia Cassidy.

Marilynn was preceded in passing by husband of 55 years, Donald, as well as siblings Lloyd and William "Warren".

Marilynn was a graduate of Mackenzie High School, class of 1955. Upon graduating, she worked as an executive secretary for General Motors. During this time, a friend suggested to Marilynn that she join a bowling league, where she would meet her future husband Don, who was envious of her bowling skills. After leaving the workforce for a few years to raise her family, she proudly joined Sears where she served as a visual merchandiser for more than a decade. She was passionate about gardening, traveling, and her dogs, especially Daisy. Most importantly, her greatest pride and joy was her family. Marilynn was known for her love of life and energetic personality, she never slowed down and was always willing to lend a helpful hand.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marilynn's memory are appreciated to Angela Hospice, who took compassionate care of her in her final days.

A visitation will be held Thursday, October 17, from 3:00-8:00pm at Harry J Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48152, with a rosary service at 7:00pm. An in state will be held Friday, October 18, from 9:30-10:00am at the Church of the Divine Child, 1055 Silvery Ln, Dearborn, MI 48128, followed by a funeral mass beginning at 10:00am. Marilynn will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
