Mamie J. Oman, age 84, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024. Born on July 15, 1939 in Wardell, Missouri, Mamie was the daughter of the late Howard and Hazel (Hayes) Brock. She was a loving mother to six children.
Mamie was a phenomenal dancer, she enjoyed bowling and going to the movies as well when she was able. She was often seen holding a Pepsi, which went hand in hand for her love for pizza. Mamie also played a lot of card games with her family. She was an awesome caregiver with pure affection. Daniel and Sandra were her main caregivers for the past 4 years and their home will not the same without her, they already miss their routines. She will be dearly missed by all of her family.
In addition to her parents, Mamie is preceded in death by her husband William Oman, and daughter Patricia Jones.
To cherish her memory, Mamie leaves behind five children: Thomas Oman, Teresa (Scott) Wilson, William (Karen) Oman, Martin Oman, and Daniel (Sandra) Oman; 17 cherished grandchildren; and sister Wanda Neill.
