Laura Elwell

Laura Elwell formerly O'Leary and Samson passed away on February 26, 2020 in Livonia MI. She is survived by her loving husband William "Bill". She is the beloved mother of Lisa O'Leary, Brian O'Leary and Erin O'Leary. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Bill (Faye) Samson, George Samson Jr, Cathy Samson Muylaert, and Jenny Filice. Laura will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Laura had a great love for the outdoors, so much that she and Bill purchased a cabin on Drummond Island, which was her sanctuary. She enjoyed sailing and camping as part of her active outdoor lifestyle.

She was a jack of all trades in the medical administration, and was very passionate in her service to others.

Laura will be missed by many, those she loved and those she taught.

A memorial gathering will be held in Laura's honor at Harry J Will Funeral Home in Livonia on Wednesday, August 12th from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a Memorial Service being held at 4:00 pm. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.HarryjWillLivonia.com for the Elwell family.
