Kenneth Allan Marlow was born on March 26, 1942 in Dearborn, Michigan. He was the fourth child of the late George and Helen Marlow. Kenneth passed away on September 12, 2016 in Huntington Woods, Michigan at the age of 74.
Kenneth had a strong sense of duty and honor. He gave back to his community by serving as a Police Officer and a member of the Army Reserves. He began his career with the Detroit Police Department, serving five years before transferring to the Livonia Police Department. Kenneth retired as a Detective Sargent with the Livonia Police Department in 1999.
Mr. Marlow was the loving husband of Carole Ann Marlow (nee Garver) for 50 years. Cherished father of Scott Marlow, Kristina Marlow, and Lisa (Michael) Wright. Proud grandfather of Ella and Greta Wright. Dear brother of Donald (Betty) Marlow and Barbara Marlow. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings George (Mary) Marlow and Robert Marlow. Kenneth also leaves to cherish his memory many loving nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.
Kenneth’s life will be celebrated with a memorial service on Wednesday September 14, 2016 at 4 pm, with a gathering beginning at 2 pm and following the service at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd. (east of Newburgh and I-275) in Livonia.
