Joyce E. Wade

Beloved wife of George Pavliscak for 27 ½ years. Loving mother of David (Anne) Wade and Jason (Liza) Wade and step-mother of George (Barbara) Pavliscak Jr., and Pamela (Steve) Ellis. Cherished grandmother of Jesse, Aaron, Lucas, Alexander, Andrew, Chloe Wade, step-grandmother of Nikolai and Jackson Pavliscak, Grace, Elizabeth and Eleanor Ellis. Dear sister of Robert (Sally) Hatfield, the late Phyllis (Pat) Tower, and Rita Hatfield. Dearest aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Joyce graduated from Cody High School in Detroit in 1964; she furthered her education at Wayne State University where she received a degree in Education in 1968. Joyce taught for the Warren school district for 5 years, later transferring to the Telecommunications industry working for Burroughs and AT&T. When Joyce retired, she enjoyed traveling with her husband George, they went on many trips together all across the world. She was an amazing grandmother and would do anything for her grandkids, any sporting event they had she was there to cheer them on. She was also a longtime member of Ward Church in Northville; she volunteered a lot with her church community. Joyce will be tremendously missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation, Thursday November 9, 2023 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Harry J. Will Funeral Home-Livonia. Funeral service, Friday November 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM (in state 10:00 AM) at Ward Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Angela Hospice or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
