Harry Harrison Johnson Jr.

Harry was born October 23, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Lorraine and Harry Harrison Johnson Sr. He attended Thurston High School in Redford, Michigan (Class of 1965) followed by Northern Michigan University. He took leave from his education to serve his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War as an Aircraft Mechanic. Post-military service, he worked for United Parcel Service for 27 years before retiring and moving to the 45th parallel in Gaylord, Michigan (aka first knuckle, middle finger).

Beloved husband of Barbara Johnson for 44 wonderful years. Loving father of Colleen, Scott, Amy (Dan), and Julie. Cherished grandfather of Hayley, Danny, Selena, Brianna, Abby, and Brayden; and great grandfather of Javier, Alejandro, and Leilani. Dearest brother of Richard, Patricia, Brian, Robert, Andrew, and Carl; and his bonus brother Jordy. He will also be missed by many friends and extended family.

A Visitation for Harry will be held Friday, March 11, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harry J Will Funeral Home, Livonia. A Celebration of Harry's Life will take place Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 4:00 PM also at Harry J. Will Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be available to watch live by selecting "Join Livestream" in the service section.
