Glen grew up in the Salvation Army Church in Brightmoor. He later joined Calvary Methodist Church in Redford (ultimately Redford Aldersgate through consolidations), where he became a regular member after marrying his late wife, Sheila A. Mitchell, on November 2, 1957. Together they shared almost 54 years.
For over 30 years, Glen worked at Chrysler in various levels of industrial relations. He held a Bachelors degree from Lawrence Tech and Eastern Michigan University, and a Masters degree University of Detroit. A lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge, Glen held membership in Livonia United Lodge #152 F&AM for 64 years and Oxford Lodge #76 AF&AM in Woodstock, Ontario. He was also a proud member of the Scottish Rite and Moslem Temple Shrine.
In addition, Glen joined the Moose and Elks lodges, where he enjoyed fellowship during his travels to Harrison and Gulf Shores. Glen's life was marked by a connection with others, toasting to the good health of many. He will be remembered for his generosity and kindness.
Glen is survived by his children: Glen (Eve) Milligan Jr., Cheryl (Tim Labell) McCracken, Bonnie (Ken) Dunneback, and David (Lori) Milligan; his grandchildren: Kristen (Trent) Thiry, Mark (Caitlin) Milligan, Ian (Kelly Elliott) McCracken, Kelsey (Sean Kiddle) McCracken, Lindsey (Dominic) Esparza, Ryan Dunneback, Ashley (David) Ingermann, and Colin Milligan; as well as great-grandchildren Elizabeth, Nicholas, Brady, Virginia, and Morgan. He also leaves behind his sister Joyce (Blair) Wilson, and his sister-in-law Judi Milligan, and companion, Barbara Cullen.
In addition to his parents, Glen was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Milligan; his son, Mark Milligan; and his brothers Samuel (Sheila) Milligan and Jerry Milligan.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, with a Masonic service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
