So many warm memories of Liz and all the Youngsters. When Kathy got married Liz & Don were still engaged.  Liz came over and insisted we do the Polka.  We were terrible at it but laughed the whole time.  She stepped on my feet constantly and I hers,  From that time on we Polkaed at every family wedding until everybody got married and weddings dried up.

I will miss you terribly Liz.  The consolation is that you are now with Don and family.

     A beautiful picture of a beautiful friend. No matter what we were doing, shopping, playing bingo, walking to the lake, or just sitting talking, time spent with Liz was always so nice.I will miss  all these things but most of all I will miss Liz. She made being her friend so easy. Don & Liz were a beautiful couple ,they raised a beautiful family and now they are together again.  Rest well my dear friend, you are loved and will be missed by so many people.
  

Maya Angelou once said "I don't believe an accident of birth makes people sisters or brothers. It makes them siblings, gives them mutuality of parentage. Sisterhood and brotherhood is a condition people have to work at" Liz was the best at this! Every secret, or personal discussion I have ever had with her, is still with her. How rare is that? She is and always will be special to me. Although she no longer with us I will see her each and every time I see Johnny and Amy. That is a glowing testament to both Liz and Don.
There is not enough space here to share my life experiences with Liz, I can assure you the most common themes in our interactions was always the love we had for each other and of course the constant laughs in good, and bad times. The posted picture on this site of my sister is the picture I will always have in my mind, that lovely smile is the epitome of my sister.


I remember holding you in my arms on our front porch when mom and dad brought you home from the hospital. Our brother John was there too.  I thought you were my doll to play with.  We also have been through a lot together, tears, laughter and fun times.  We would always get into some fiasco when the guys would go hunting.  Like.the time we bought haba trails and hamsters for our boys for Christmas and yours died on Christmas eve day. Going to miss you Liz but you will always be in my thoughts  love you. 

Liz was, and forever will be, my best friend for over 45 years.  We have been through so much together..so many escapades & so much laughter and quite a few tears.  There will never be anyone that could take her place...she will be in my heart forever...and there are no words that can ever express her loss.  I know she is at peace and with Don now.....rocking to Alice and Tina and winning at Bingo in heaven!!  I love you sister💔🍸🎶
