Beloved husband of Mary for 41 wonderful years. Loving father of Jessica (Wade) and Jason (Raquel). Cherished grandfather of Juliana, Josephina, Jacqueline and Evelyn. Doug was preceded by his parents Gordon and Norma Reschke; his brother Kenneth and sisters Carolyn and Connie.
Doug was a loving family man, an artist, a musician, and an engineer at Ford Motor Company for 30 years. A cowboy at heart, he enjoyed spending time out west which inspired his artwork. He also enjoyed spending time at the family cottage, going on family vacations, playing in bands, and playing with his grandchildren and his dog Lucas.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 beginning at 9:30am until the Funeral Service that will begin at 11am at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, Livonia.
Memorial contributions in honor of Doug are appreciated to the American Lung Association, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church.
