Diane Marie Fox

Diane Marie Fox, age 66, of Northville, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024, at her home. Left to cherish her memory are her loving siblings: James (Karel) Fox, and Sarah (Christopher) Bruns; her sisters-in-law, Pamela Fox, and Celeste Fox; and many cherished nieces, nephews, and close friends made over the years.

Diane was born October 21, 1957, in Detroit, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Douglas and Elaine (Robison) Fox. After graduating from Livonia Stephenson High School, Diane knew that she wanted to further her education. She would go on to receive a Bachelor’s in Administration from Madonna University. Shortly after, Diane enrolled at the University of Detroit Mercy, where she would earn her Master’s Degree in Medieval History. Diane devoted her professional life to a successful career as an English Second Language Teacher. In the year 1990, Diane’s career led her all the way to Japan, where she taught the English language for many years. Upon her return to the United States, Diane continued to tutor both privately and for businesses like Nissan. Most notably, Diane spent many years taking care of her mother, Elaine, until her passing. She greatly enjoyed the time she spent caring for Elaine.

In her free time, Diane could always be found reading a good book, tending to her garden, or watching one of her many favorite British television shows. Throughout her life, Diane was an animal lover; she especially had a soft spot for dogs! Most of all, Diane cherished the time she spent with her family and friends. She was a wonderful woman who will be dearly missed.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Elaine; and two of her brothers: Daniel Fox, and Robert Fox.

In accordance with Diane’s wishes, cremation will take place. No public services have been scheduled. An inurnment will take place at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia at a later date.
