He is survived by his beloved wife Maria of 57 years, daughters Lisa (Mike) and Angela D’Orazio (Michael) and daughter-in-law Nahed. Grand children Nicolas, Domenic, Ethan, Lukas, Isabella and Sophia. Sister-in-laws Toni (Silvestro) and Bettina. And many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by daughter JoAnna, son Franco, his parents Antonio and Domenica, brother Silvio, sisters Benedetta, Maria and Antonette, in-laws Giovanni and Maria DiManno, brother-in-laws Carmine, George and Giovanni, sister-in-law Rosa.
Carmine immigrated to this country with his parents in 1958 from Ciara, Italy. As an Italian American he proudly served his country in the US Army. He was a small business owner, carpenter and general contractor and took great pride in his trade. During retirement he loved to spend time with family and friends, travel to their second home in Boyne Falls, gardening, making homemade wine and cured Italian meats, playing cards, watching sports and road trips to the casino. He will be dearly missed by all that were touched by his love and devotion.
A funeral visitation for Carmine will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harry J Will Funeral Homes, 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152. A rosary will occur at 7:00 PM. A funeral in state will occur Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at St Aidan Catholic Church, 17500 Farmington Rd, Livonia, Michigan 48152. The funeral mass will take place beginning at 9:30 AM. Followed by a private burial at Glen Eden cemetery.
