Carl Joseph Misiak

He was born in Detroit, Michigan, (twin with Conrad Misiak); son of Frank and Anna (nee Purol) Misiak. He graduated from St. Hedwig High School in Detroit, class of 1954. He retired from the Detroit News, and then went on to work at Jazembowski Funeral Home in Detroit, for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Peter, Patricia (Shipp), Monica (Wyroba), Frank, and his twin, Conrad. He is survived by his sister Judy (Leslie) and beloved friend, Mardine (Ploss), many great nieces and nephews, and loads of friends.

For many years, Carl sang on the choir at SS. Peter and Paul Church in Detroit. What a beautiful voice! What a wonderful brother.

Visitation, Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 9am until time of mass at 10am at Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church: 7685 Grandville Ave, Detroit, MI 48228.

Carl's one request to his sister is that he be buried in a Veteran's Cemetery in Michigan.
