Betty Jeanne Judge

Beloved wife of 59 years to the late Jim Judge. Loving mother of Cathy Judge, Barney (Linda Randolph) Judge, and Tom (Tracey) Judge. Cherished grandmother of Matt (Katherine Jewell) Judge, Andrea (Jeff) Hollandsworth, Emily (Luca Monfregola) Judge, Colton Judge, Tyler (Courtney) Judge, Rory Judge, Olivia (Tommy) Cook, and Colin Judge. Dear great-grandmother of 11 and dearest sister of Ruth Schettenhelm. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Jim and grandson James Giczewski.

Betty was devoted to her husband and family. Betty was born in the home her Dad built and raised her family there until 1975 when she moved to Plymouth. Betty met Jim on the family farm. They were friends for years and married in 1956. Betty was a business teacher at Redford Union. She loved traveling; visited all 50 states and all but one continent. She enjoyed throwing backyard pool parties. She was a true MSU fan and loved to say it was a college (MSC) when she attended. She enjoyed her Bridge and Bunco Club, skiing, boating, dinner club, reading, quilting, and being surrounded by family. She hosted holiday gatherings and parties with family and friends. Betty will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation, Sunday June 25, 2023 from 12:00 PM- 3:00PM with a service at 3:00 PM at Harry J. Will Funeral Home-Livonia. Interment at Glen Eden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
