Arthur L. Hoffman

Arthur L. Hoffman was born on July 9, 1924. He passed away on January 21, 2013 at the age of 88. Loving husband of the late Gladis for 56 years until her death on November 21, 2007. Beloved father of Sandra (Colt) Culter and Mary (Jeff) Marlatt. Dear grandfather of Michael and Cindy Marlatt. Survived by his sisters Esther Robinette and Elsie Raymond and best friend Jill Morris. Predeceased by his siblings Carl, Freida, Ruth, Omar, Clarence and Harold.

Arthur proudly served in the US Army from 1943-1946, where he earned a Good Conduct Medal, 3 Overseas Service Bars and 3 Bronze Battle Stars for his services in the Pacific Theater. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local #324 for 60 years.

Arthur's family will receive friends on Sunday January 27, 2013 from 4-8 pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd. (east of Newburgh and I-275) in Livonia.

His life will be celebrated with a funeral service led by Reverend Mark Raitz, on Monday January 28, 2013 at 1 pm at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia.
