Anna Maria was called to heaven on August 12, 2023 at the age of 95. She is reunited with her dear husband, Guido. She was a proud mother to Robert (Lynda) and Gary (Terry). Nonna to Dario (Darcy), Gino (Melissa), Nieko (Karen), Dante, and Angela (Andrew); and beloved "nonna grande" to Renato, River, Isabel, Genevieve, Nathan, Ilaria, and Nina.
Anna Maria was born in Casalvieri, Italy on July 2, 1928, was married to Guido Ianni on June 1, 1947, and immigrated to the United States in December of 1948. She was the loving sister of Raffaele (d.) (Ivonna d.), Gelsomina (Giuseppe d.), Adelina (d.) (Emilio d.), Onorio (Maria), Antonio (Francesca d.), Maria (Ottavio d.), Vittorio (Agata), and Natalina (Gian d.); and loving daughter to Giacinto ladipaolo (d.) and Giovanna Martinelli (d.) "Zia Anita" will also be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family would like to thank all who assisted with Anna Maria's care, including the kind staff of Caretel Inns of Brighton and the compassionate team with Elara Caring Hospice Care. They made her final days peaceful and dignified.
The family will receive friends for a visitation on Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 2pm - 4pm with a dinner break from 4pm - 6pm. Visitation will continue at 6pm until 8pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 Six Mile, Livonia, MI 48152. There will be a Rosary Service at 7pm led by Deacon Don Esler of St. Edith Catholic Church.
Anna's life will be celebrated with an 11am Funeral Mass on Friday, August 18, 2023 at St. Colette Catholic Church 17600 Newburgh, Livonia, MI 48152. Visitation and final viewing at church will begin at 10:00am. Mass will be led by Father Susaikannu Esack
Anna will be laid to rest next to her husband Guido in the mausoleum at Glen Eden Memorial Cemetery, Livonia, MI
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choosing or a mass in her memory may be requested at any Catholic Church.
