Born in Jersey City and raised in West New York, Sandy has lived in Livingston for the past 60 years. After his time in the Air Force National Guard in the mid-1960’s, he worked as a mechanical engineer for the Bendix Corporation. He then went on to run his own real estate brokerage firm from which he retired, Schonberger Associates. He was a member of the Livingston Chamber of Commerce and an active member of The Suburban Torah Center of Livingston.
Sandy was the beloved husband of the late Niecee Schonberger, loving father of Debbi Pierce and her husband Derek, and devoted grandfather of Maggie Rose and Jessica. Donations in Sandy’s memory may be made to Suburban Torah Center of Livingston or Friends of the IDF.
