Ryan is survived by his loving children Nicholas, Sean, and Lilly. He was preceded in death by his mother Kathleen and father Neal.
He was known for his quick wit, thoughtfulness and caring nature. He left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He loved anything and everything Dallas Cowboys, singing karaoke, playing board games and hanging out with his family. Ryan loved playing and watching sports, and bragging about his kids to anyone who would listen. He had a special fondness for cats and wasn’t shy about taking them into his home.
Ryan attended Livingston High School and proudly served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army from 2003 to 2012, completing 2 tours in Iraq. During that time he was awarded a Bronze Star, The Army Commendation Medal and The Army Achievement Medal, as well as the St. George's Bronze Medal in recognition of his excellent record of service.
Visitation to honor Ryan’s life will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 4-8 PM at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home in Livingston, NJ. A funeral service will take place at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home on Friday, September 8, 2023, at 10 AM.
Contributions in Ryan’s memory can be made to the Headstrong Project, a charitable organization that provides mental health services to veterans.
Ryan Timothy Healy will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. He leaves behind his siblings Colleen (Mike), Erin (Dennis), Brian (Kristin), Shannon (Sean), Bridget (Jeff), Meghan (Keith), and his nieces and nephews Krissy, Kayla, Julie, Nick, Maria, Cierra, Dylan, Patrick, Brandon, Aidan, Conor, Caitlin, Colin, Cassidy, Owen, Brianna, Liam, Jaime, Ryan, and his 9 great nieces and nephews. Ryan's memory will forever live on in our hearts.
