Robert Donald Stefanelli Sr.

Born and raised in Orange by his late mother Rose Stefanelli, he lived in West Orange for 44 years, and moved to Fairfield 11 years ago.

Robert was the owner of R. Stefanelli Roofing & Siding in West Orange for 45 years before retiring 7 years ago.

For many years he was a member of the Sons of Italy in Orange.

He was the beloved husband of Patricia (nee Destino) and the late Shirley (nee Fania) Stefanelli, loving father of Robert D. Stefanelli, Jr. and his wife Laura, Michael Stefanelli and his wife Gina, Joe Stefanelli and his wife Danielle, and Paul Stefanelli and his wife Maria, and stepfather of Stephanie Hart and her husband Kevin, Alex Zulla, and Anthony Meoli, dear brother of Benjamin Stefanelli, Dolores Jandoli, and the late John Stefanelli, Geral Stefanelli and Rose Renna, cherished grandfather of Alexandra, Robert III, Deena, Michael, Joe Jr., Dante, Marlena, Mikayla, and Stephen, and step grandfather of Isabella, Grace, and Lucas, and great grandfather of Adriana, AvaRose, and Aubree.

Cremation is being held privately under the direction of the LaMonica Memorial Home in Livingston.

A Memorial Mass will be offered on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 10:30 am in St. Aloysius Church in Caldwell followed by the inurnment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
