Michael A. Martin

Michael A. Martin, age 69, of West Orange, NJ, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday January 25, 2013. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Raphael’s Church 346 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue Livingston, NJ, on Thursday January 31, 2013 at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery Arneytown, NJ. The family will receive their friends at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue Livingston, NJ; on Wednesday January 30, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Michael served his country proudly in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was employed by the US Postal Service as a letter carrier for the East Orange Post Office for over 25 years, later he worked for Llewellyn Park security in West Orange, NJ. Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Edith Estil Martin, his loving children Mignon C. Britt and her husband Jim, Daniel J. Martin and his wife Andrea and William C. Martin, and his dear sister Sheila Gallo. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army 430 Main Street East Orange, NJ 07018.
