Lori Vogel

Dolores “Lori” M. Vogel, 64, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at her home in Glen Gardner, NJ. She was born in West Orange, NJ, to the late Dr. Jerome and Dolores Dowd Vogel. As a young girl, her family moved to Italy so her father could go to medical school, where they lived until she was 4 years old. Later, at the age of 16, she was accepted by Syracuse University as 1 of 5 female students admitted in to the Architecture program. Lori was employed by ADP, where she worked for the past 12 years. Outside of work, Lori enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored greatly. She also loved to travel, and has been all around the world to places including, Brazil, Iceland, China, and Africa, to name a few. Lori was also known for her baking and amazing cake creations. One of Lori’s notable accomplishments was the renovation of her home from the ground up. She has an orchard with fruit trees and was looking forward to harvesting fruits and vegetables for her family.

Lori is survived by her loving daughters, Jacquelyn Kochenour and Kimberly Chimento, her son's-in-law Steven Kochenour and Daniel Chimento; her adoring grandchildren Scott and Sean Kochenour and Natalie and Lleyton Chimento; as well as many extended family members and friends. Lori will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 24 from 4-8 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, Livingston NJ. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 25 at 10:30AM at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth NJ.
