Laurance “Butch” Reinhardt, 68, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2014 in Livingston, NJ. Laurence was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Vietnam War, and received a Purple Heart. He was a life-long resident of Livingston where he worked as a maintenance foreman for the Department of Public Works for the Township of Livingston for 31 years. He also enjoyed vacationing with his family in LBI.
Laurance is survived by his mother, Doris “Pat” Reinhardt. He also leaves behind his beloved wife of 42 years, Marlyn, his loving daughters Kelley, Jamie Rajkumar and her husband Joseph, and Lauren, his granddaughters Blake and Brooke, as well as his sister Nancy Schmaler and her husband Ray, and his brother Bruce and his wife Sue. He is also survived by his 3 nieces.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21 from 4-8 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 145 E. Mt Pleasant Avenue, Livingston. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 22 at 10AM with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations in Laurance’s name may be made American Lung Association at www.lung.org.
