Jane A. Vetter

Jane A. Vetter, 88, passed away at her residence in West Orange on Tuesday, October 18, 2016. The Memorial Gathering will be at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 11 AM followed by the Service of Remembrance at 12:30 PM.

Born in Glen Ridge, Jane lived almost her entire life in West Orange attending Gregory Ave. School, Roosevelt Junior High and graduating from West Orange High School. She was a lunch aid at Hazel Ave. School, West Orange, serving lunches to special education kids and let those who stayed for regular lunch pop their bags on Friday. Then, until her retirement, for many years she was a patient representative at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. She also loved to talk politics BUT only if you agreed with her.

Predeceased by her husband Al, she is survived by her children: Stephen and wife Kathy, Patricia Moran and husband Jim, Peggy Perri and husband Chris, Allison Knabb and husband Chris and Diane A. Vetter; her grandchildren: Albert and wife Wendy, Robert and wife Christie, Victoria Solenburger and husband Erik and her great grandchildren: Joey, Emily, Robert, Evan, Karina and Tommy.
