Jacqueline Lee Dodd Kentner was freed from her final years of bed to wheelchair via hoyer confinement.
Born May 23, 1939 in Columbus Ohio, she died October 28, 2021 in her Wayne NJ home under the care of Don.
Daughter of Ruth Updegraff and Durwood Dodd and sister to Danny Dodd. Jacqueline graduated with a BA in teaching from Ohio State University in 1961 and with a M.Ed in reading from Montclair State University in 1987. She taught in Columbus, Ohio and East Orange, NJ.
She served as Sunday School Teacher, Superintendent, and Deacon of The Federated Church of Livingston.
Wife of Donald Christian Kentner, mother of Ruth Anne, Heather Sue, Bryan Edward And Loraine, mother- in-law of Wesam, Glen and Carol, sister-in-law of David and Ginny, Virginia and Al and Robert and Verna.
Grandmother of Joseph, Sarah and Ibrahim; Katie, Michael and Donna; Kelsey, Madeline and Logan; and Nicholas. Jackie lived a full and beautiful life, and we are blessed with lovely memories.
A Memorial Service will be held on 2:00 PM Saturday November 6th at the Federated Church of Livingston 6 W. Mt. Pleasant Avenue Livingston NJ, followed with a gathering of family and friends until 6:00 PM.
