George C. Andreasen, Sr. of Livingston, NJ and Pittsfield, Mass, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 18, 2019 amongst family. A Memorial Gathering will be held at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue Livingston, NJ, on Sunday May 5, 2019 from 2-5 PM with a memorial service at 4:30 PM. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he resided in Livingston, NJ, for 55 years. George was a graduate of University of Nebraska, where he received a degree in electrical engineering. Following a 39 year career with Westinghouse Electric (N.A. Phillips Lighting), he retired in 1991 and became a member of the Livingston Old Guard.
George was predeceased by his beloved wife Pauline V. Andreasen, and his brothers Harry and Sonny Andreasen. He is survived by his devoted children, Chris (Pam), David (Laura), Carl (Michelle) Andreasen and Dorothy (Jim) Remler. Loving grandfather of Kevin, Dan, Julie, Jen, Michael, Alli, Megan, Brian, Ashley, Keith, Heather and Kelly.
