Carol Ann Kearney

Carol Ann Kearney, (nee: Papandrea) age 68, passed on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at her residence in Livingston. The daughter of the late Mary and Ned Papandrea, (who was a former Livingston Township engineer), she grew up on Chestnut Street, attended Saint Philomena’s Grammar School and graduated from Livingston High School. She went on to earn her degree at Becker College, Worcester, MA. Carol worked for the Livingston Township schools for over 17 years.

She leaves behind her beloved and devoted husband Neil Kearney of 16 years. ; her adoring children, Tonya May and her husband Curt of Green Township, N.J., Sandi Hill and her husband Gary of East Hanover, N.J., Nicholas Scheskowsky of North Carolina and Carol Ann Flanzbaum and her husband Dan of East Hanover, N.J. Also, loving grandchildren Matthew, Riley, Olivia, Daniel and Sophia and Baby Flanzbaum on the way, along with cousins and many, many friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 2, at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., from 4 to 8 PM. The Funeral Service will be offered at the funeral home on Friday at 11 AM with the interment following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol’s name may be made to the Cancer Center at St. Barnabas Medical Center, 94 Old Short Hills Rd., Livingston, N.J. 07039
