Arthur Jay Simon

Born in Newark, NJ, Arthur graduated from Weequahic High School. He received his engineering degree from Ohio State University and then received his Masters of Business Administration from Seton Hall.

He lived in Short Hills, NJ for many years before moving to Florham Park in 2013. Arthur ran Designs for Interiors with his long time partner Mary Ann Imbriaco for almost 50 years. None of us could have lived without her unwavering support and friendship.

He was a long time member of Temple B'nai Jeshurun, President of the NJ Chapter of American Society of Interior Designers, and a Past Master Freemason with the Mt. Nebo Masonic Lodge in Elizabeth, NJ.

Arthur was the beloved husband for 63 years to Lois Simon, loving father of Mindy Simon-Bracaglia (Paul), and Jill Lupi, devoted grandfather of Alexandra, Jenna, Brandon, and Gabriella, cherished brother of Ilene Schnitzer (Larry Slutzker), Beverly Nebel, and the late Gail Hasulnus.

The family will be receiving guests from 10:15 AM to 10:45 AM on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Rd, Livingston, New Jersey 07039. A funeral service will take place Friday, October 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at B'nai Jeshurun Cemetery, 1351 Lower Road, Elizabeth, NJ 07208.
