Angelina P. Battista

Born in Glen Ridge to the late Maria and Joseph DiBella and raised in Montclair Angie lived in Bloomfield before moving to East Hanover in 2003.

Angie and her late husband Ralph were well known as owners of the Spring Deli in Bloomfield for many years.

She enjoyed playing cards and taking trips to Atlantic City with her husband, but her greatest joy was her family, especially her 5 grandsons.

She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph C. Battista, Sr., loving mother of Ralph C. Battista, Jr. and his wife Fran, Maria Volante and her husband Michael, and the late Michele Battista, cherished grandmother of Ralph Battista, III and his fiancé Danielle Kearney, Thomas Battista, and Frank, Michael, and Nicholas Volante, and dear sister of Minnie DiPrenda, sister in law of Rita Battista, and aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation is being held at the LaMonica Memorial Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., Livingston, on Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 4-8 pm.

A Prayer Service will begin at the funeral home on Friday, February 28, 2020 at 10 am followed by the Entombment in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.

In lieu of flowers kindly make contributions to St. Jude Children’s’ Research Hospital.
