Marjorie Ann McNulty, of Little Rock, Arkansas, died Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Parkway Village Nursing Home. She was born June 23, 1930, in Bigelow, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Joseph G. and Anna (Blattler) Otten. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Patrick McNulty; a son, Dennis McNulty; daughter-in-law, Sheila McNulty; grandchildren, Sylvia and Michael McNulty; and a sister, Estelle Miller.
Mrs. McNulty was a devout Catholic and member of Christ the King Catholic Church, where she had served as a Eucharistic Minister for over 10 years for St. Vincent Infirmary; and was active with Martha’s Meals. She had also volunteered at Abba House and Our House. She and her husband were well-traveled.
Her children remember her as a kind, compassionate person who was noted by many as always smiling. She was a wonderful mom and a much loved Nana.
She is survived by her children, Linda Lockyer and husband Allan of Marion, South Carolina; Brenda Harvey and husband James “Jim” of Niceville, Florida; Patrick McNulty, Jr. of Bryant, Arkansas; Debbie Hoyt and husband Chuck of Little Rock, Arkansas; sisters, Betty Moix of Bigelow; Lorraine Gammel of Mahtomedi, Minnesota; grandchildren, Kamber Rafferty, Stephen Harvey, Patrick McNulty III, Jennie Strange, Eric Hoyt; three great-grandchildren, Will McNulty, Andrew and Mason Chapmond.
