A retired Respiratory Therapist and longtime educator, Jimmy served as the Director of the PTC Respiratory Therapy Program until his retirement in 2012. Known for his warm and welcoming nature, Jimmy never met a stranger. He always prioritized God, family, and friends first. With an unforgettable sense of humor, he was a constant source of teaching, sharing both his knowledge and his faith.
He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Glenette; son, Mike; two grandchildren, Micah and Cooper; and step-brother, Paul (Marilyn).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Jimmy’s memory to the LR Compassion Center, St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, or the North Little Rock Animal Shelter.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Baptist Health Hospice and the Alliance Care Team.
A private graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 27, 2024 at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
