I can’t believe that it’s already been 1 year without you. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about you and how much I miss you. I feel that there was so much we didn’t get to do together.. and I know your watching over me, I just miss you so much. To the family and friends of Mrs. Diane Bennett, you all have my deepest  condolences and prayers. My name is Vanita Lindsey and I am the daughter of the late Balencia Lindsey. She was Ms. Diane's good friend. I remember Ms. Diane as being very vibrant and good hearted woman. She will be missed. 

Diane Bennett was an amazing woman and Mother. I may not be one of her biological kids but that didn't stop her from loving me all the same. She added me to her family and took me in off the streets when I ran away. Thank you for giving me a better shot at life. Thank you for help pointing me in the right direction. I will never forget!!

I was looking at my calendar yesterday . I was adding reminders to my phone and the reminder I made for you popped up.  So I would remember to bring your gift , card, and balloons by. I will truly miss my Big Sister. I just hate we didn't have more Time. Adrian ( as you called him your Brother In Law)  was talking about you yesterday saying he remember the last  conversation y'all had.  You are truly missed . I remember the very first time we met, you looked and asked who is this, I thought to myself she mean. The second time when I came to visit we sat and laugh and I saw a loving mother with a big heart for all. You finally told me you weren’t trying to come off mean you was bringing food and thought you didn’t have enough. You never treated any child different and you cared and showed love. You will truly be missed. My prayers are with the family. Love you all 💜❤️

She was a very caring and loving sister -in-law. My mom treated her more like a daughter than a daughter-in-law.
She will be missed but God has got her now.

I will forever remember the talks Diane and I had, she was a very intelligent and loving woman. I’m so happy the boys and I got to spend time with her. That beautiful smile and the warm hugs she gave will never be forgotten.

The Bennett family has the Love  and Prayers  from my family with them with the lose of Diane  who has always shown me love and always offered wisdom in our conversations. May God continue to bless this family… And keep his loving hands on them…

Hello, Sister ‼️‼️‼️‼️ That’s how I answered the phone when you called...  I loved you soooooo much ‼️‼️‼️ You raised me.  You were second Mom to me. You loved strong and hard. Helped many some who didn’t deserve. When our Mom died . You stepped up took care of our Dad , helped our  brothers , and loved on my children without a question being ask. I remember the rides in the car listening to Anita Baker .  I can still hear your laughs Your voice .  You always tried to protect me from heart ache you know I’m a hard shell on the outside but a BIG BABY on the inside. You loved me without questioning anything. When I called you to talk . You never judged you just listen . We cried on the phone many times together...  I will miss those long conversations. I WISH GOD would have allowed US more time. Your niece and nephew were talking about you last night. Don said Aunt Diane always came through. Mom I remember our last conversation. She was talking to me about College and Life . Don said wish I would’ve reached out more and loved on her more. Thinking we had time but not knowing our time was running short. People saw your hard Shell. But you were as GENTLE AS A GIANT‼️I CAN FEEL YOU NEAR . I Thank God He Blessed Me To have a Sister like you. Some people will never understand the BOND we had .  We will always Love you forever.... I'm so lost for words right now. Diane was a great sister n law,mom,grandmother, cousin, wife,etc. When God say it's time it's time. Diane is already missed. God makes no mistakes he takes the best. I pray that you all will find comfort and peace throughout this difficult moment.  Love yall forever. When we got together she made sure everyone had a fantastic time. 

I spent many days and nights at aunt Diane's growing up. I remember her radiant smile as I would walk under the carport and through the front door. I couldn't wait to get to the backyard and swing on the swingset or to the tire swing. I remember learning how to scale a fish in that same backyard. She gave the warmest hugs when I would arrive but then again when I would leave. She'd take Raven and I everywhere. Waking up, walking from the back of the house and into the kitchen just to see her pouring her coffee was often a pleasant site. This past year, she'd text me every holiday. I had just become spoiled to that and it has been taken away too soon. The love she gave, I could never forget because she loved me like I was one of her own! To know her is to love her and she will truly be missed! 

Gone too soon you will never know the feelings I bare within me. Family members have come and go many are still here near, and far to carry "OUR" legacy's on. Tell grandma Geneva, grandpa Clarence, my daddy Larry Turner, uncle Jimmy Lewis, and my cousin Reggie I said hello. Even though you all are gone each one of you will NEVER be forgotten!! I love you Rest forver in peace Queen Aunt Diane!

U will truly be missed. U was like a second mom to me and didn’t show a difference when I was right or wrong.. I know u love me like a son and for that I will always be truly great full to have know u for the past 18 years . a loving mother , grandmother, I’ll miss our conversation u asking me what I’m cooking and to bring u a plate .. your last words was to me is love u and have a blessed day I loved u too mom  take your rest and know ur thought of and u will live on in my heart and thoughts 

Remembering her as she grew into a young lady, mother and grandmother, always there if you needed her a hard working individual that always wanted the best for her family, that smile on her face as you see it  now, I will always remember.. gone too soon❤❤❤

My grandmother was kind hearted and the strongest person Ive ever known. I’m grateful that I got the privilege to bask in her kind spirit everyday. Ever since I was young, I called my grandmother my superhero. Just like a superhero, she was always there when I needed her the most and will continue to be. I thank God for everyday he gave her life, and I know she is up above watching over all of us. She will be missed. 

My grandmother was a wonderful woman and friend and I love her so much and I miss her and I hope that she is resting in peace like I want her too

My mom and I used to do everything together. From traveling, taking walks at the park, eating at restaurants to moving out together. She is a wonderful person who left the world too soon, but she left peacefully and that's all I could ask for. She has helped many and has always put others before her. She was a saint and most didn't deserve her rare kindness. Hope to see her soon when the time comes.
