Cissy and family,Buz was such a sweet man.  He always asked  me about my husband who was ill.  Buz had never met him, but was just so kind to ask about him. I am missing his smiling face.

Have know Buzz from back in Cumberland, Maryland with high school and with family friends. He was always kind and a true gem of a guy. When I moved to Fayetteville, North Carolina, I ran into Buzz while he was dating a friend, Cissy. What a small world, but a man with a big heart. My heart is saddened that he had a short retirement with Cissy. I love this whole family and hope God has grace on them and lets the wonderful memories they had with Buzz last forever. Peace be with you.

Buzzy, my heart breaks for your family during this great loss. I have such fond memories of spending vacations together on Topsail island. You were so funny and full of life, always! One day at a time as we all hold onto the memories of Buzz and the incredible love and energy he shared with all. There is a list of friends that are embracing you and your family with condolences and love and prayers for God to hold you and give comfort through this time in your lives. Buzz and I had a kinda funny kinship! We’ve known each other since the 70’s!  I called him Buzzard and he’d call me Gribbit…lol  
We worked together, we’ve golfed and rode together. Although the latter two,  not nearly enough! He’d ALWAYS be positive!

Growing up next to “Mr. Buz” made for the best adventures as a kid. The whole cul-de-sac loved Buz and exploring his big back yard. His kitchen was the best place to enjoy a ginger ale and he always made sure we practiced our manners with “yes sir” and “no sir”. He looked after us like we were his own. Mr. Buz, you will be missed. 

Thank you for being you and for the great role model that you have been for the past 45 years. For teaching me at an early age to work hard and always be a good person. You always had something to teach me. 🤣

 Buzz was a special friend of mine.
I called him the Mayor of Kings Grant because everyone knew him and loved him.
My dog Zach thought so much of him. 
After major surgery Buzz came by my house and walked Zach nearly every day until I was able to walk him.
I will never forget that act of kindness.
He was very good man and friend and I will miss him.

Buz we spent  many days at the tire farm and you were always a pleasure to spent time with, great smile and most positive attitude I have ever seen in lots of times a stressful work enviroment.  You will be missed by many, but never forgotten, RIP my friend till we meet again.

A true mentor to me, working in a stressful environment.  Buz would come to the office to visit me and another associate on a weekly basis. When times were tuff, Buz always delivered words of encouragement. They were right on time. Now retired, I know who got me there. A true friend. He gave me hope. Nothing but love for you brother.

I am so sorry for the loss of Buzz. I have know Buzz since 1989 when I first moved to Fayetteville NC. He was my neighbor and took me under his wing immediately knowing that I had no one in Fayetteville to rely upon. He was always there when I needed help (like when my bedroom ceiling fell in from an air conditioner leak). He always had a smile on his face. I was fortunate to spend time in Fayetteville and at the beach with he and Cissy.
My thoughts and prayers are with Cissy and all of the family. He will be missed.
