Ruby Miller

Sunday, December 10, 2023 was a sad day for family and friends, but a joyful day for Ms. Ruby June Miller (age 90) as she took her journey to meet her Lord and Maker. “The Lord is my shepherd…” Psalm 23.

Ruby was a devout Christian and longtime member of Wampee Baptist Church. A native of Charleston, WV, Ruby has resided in North Myrtle Beach for the past 30 years.

She leaves behind her extended family and many devoted friends. Those who knew her loved her dearly. “We miss her already.”

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Mary Knight; four brothers; daughter, Vickie Fort; and grandson, Gary Fort, Jr.

Always wearing a beautiful smile for everyone, Ruby had the kindest heart and a giving nature, not to forget her style and wit. She was a talented artist who specialized in painting, and loved singing and dancing.
