Happy Birthday!  Missed you on the cruise.  Still remembering the good times.

Clark was a good friend and a great car guy! He was part of our Mama Jean's breakfasts on Wednesday and the Grill House dinners once a month.  When anyone needed a hand Clark was there. He is surely missed.

Still missing Clark's humor, humility, kindness and patience--coincidently on Monica's birthday (now 78)...

Still miss you, Clark.  Remembering the good times and glad we have all the memories.  Still hurts.


We had breakfast with Clark every other Wednesday and dinner once a month. Clark always had a smile on his face when he walked into the room.  Clark was so proud when he completely restored his 55 Crown Victoria. It is a beauty! We will miss you Clark. May you rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers go out to MaryAnn and her family.

Clarkie was my first cousin, 11 years my senior. He was very fond of
my father, Don West. Clark went deer hunting with us many times
when I was  very young, 7 or 8 years old. He also worked for my dad
for a few years in his younger days so I spent time with Clarkie, back in the day.  
Whenever I remember Clark I always vision his big smile.

Always enjoyed any time spent with Clark.
He was a great neighbor  and could always count on him to help at the swim club.  Judy and my thoughts are with Mary and family.


     Easy going and good-natured,  Clark was always there to help.  When we bought our first fixer-upper and needed a closet in  the bedroom,  Clark was there showing us how to build it and working right along side us.
     So sorry for your loss,  Mary Ann and family.  Our prayers are with you as you grieve.

I remember when Clark wanted to store an antique car in my garage.  I thought I was going to house a treasure but when he brought it up , towed behind his car, it was just a frame.  There were no doors, no glass, no motor, no seats and no motor.  I could not even tell what kind of car it was.  The two of us pushed it in the garage.  So much for housing his treasure!

Clark would babysit his daughter, Cindy, and her 2 cousins , all three  within 14 months apart on the day after Christmas so I could spend the day with my sister for shopping and lunch in Pittsburgh.  What a good guy!   We will miss your infectious smile and good nature.  

        I worked with Bob at Homestead Works. It was a pleasure to work with him. We had a lot of laughs.  He was an exceptional person.

Dear Mary Ann and Family,

It is with a very heavy heart that Ulla and I send our deepest sympathy to you and your family for the loss of Clark.  Over the relatively short time we have know you and Clark, Ulla has often said he is the nicest and kindest man she has ever know and I could not agree more.  Clark was so thoughtful and always willing to help anyone.  Good people last in the hearts and minds of friends forever.

Great guy. He always checked on me during the last 6 month s that I have spent  in the hospital. I ,m glad he got the car done. 














Although we weren't blood-related, we were related through marriage. (I married his niece and Goddaughter, Marilyn). I have enjoyed the many times we spent together, particularly the times we spent visiting the condos in North Myrtle beach.  I can still remember the time our family was on the beach and he was on his balcony and he called me up to join him and have a drink. (It was 10:00 in the morning.)  Later that evening, the 2 of us decided to leave our families and have a couple more beers at a bar. I decided to walk a little further with him to check out a few more bars and then he said to me, "Holy Hell!  If I knew we were going to walk this far, I would have drove."  And I told him, "Clark, you have to work for your beer."  We sat at the bar, he told me stories I heard at least 3 times. I couldn't stop him because I knew how much he enjoyed telling them and I would still end up laughing anyway. Rest in Peace. I will miss you, my friend.  Cheers. 

I have many warm memories of Uncle Clark through the years.   Our families were so close growing up.  You were always greeted with his big smile and great blue eyes. A joke usually came shortly after, even if he couldn't remember the punch line.  If had to pick my favorite, it would be one summer at the Jersey shore.  Our families just went to see Jaws in the theater. One day after that we went to the beach and while we were  in the water, he swam up behind my dad and grabbed my dad's legs under the water. My dad thought it was a shark and he jumped and started to try to get away!  He left us kids all laughing. And, that was Uncle Clark. And there was so much more. He enjoyed life and I will always remember him making me smile or laugh. It doesn't get any better than that. I'll miss you Uncle Clark. I love you.
