Gloria Ann Davis

Gloria Ann Davis, age 77, of Little River, South Carolina passed away at home on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. Born in Durham, NC, she was a daughter of the late Herman Judson Lane and Eunice Maude Kerr Lane. Ann was the devoted and loving wife of the late Willie Lee Davis. The two were married 42 years prior to his passing on January 26, 2023.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at PowerHouse Church, currently meeting at Restoration Church, 86 Cloverleaf Drive, Suite 206, Longs, SC 29568. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 6:00 until 6:45 p.m. A graveside service will follow on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. at Butts-Davis Family Cemetery in Morrisville, North Carolina.

Ann is survived by her children, Michael Betts (Kathy), Rodney Betts (Cindy), Tracie Feld (Jonathan); stepchildren, Tina Fann, Stacy Davis (Deidre); 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; along with nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Rosa Lee, Betty, Jean, Carolyn, Roy and Dwight.

A devout Christian, Ann deeply loved her family, friends and Jesus. She poured her life into the building of the Kingdom of God. Beginning her spiritual journey at First Pentecostal Church of Durham, North Carolina, leading to the building and growth of PowerHouse Church in Longs, South Carolina. Ann’s faith was her strength, shield and triumph.
